How to be "politically" creative

I was wondering of what would happen to millions of campaign posters and materials scattered in all parts of the Philippines after the May 10 elections. For all I know, it is not realistic for candidates to recycle their campaign materials. If you've noticed, more and more political campaign signs are being printed for every campaign cycle. Until now, no one has had a serious discussion about what a person should do with a campaign sign after the election is over.

Every effort should be taken by candidates to use their campaign signs for more than one campaign cycle. But since this is not happening, we could still show our support to our favored candidates (even if they weren't lucky at clinching a seat in the government) and do the job for them by being eco-friendly. And how is that?

Well there are various ways of recycling discarded campaign materials. Take for example American environmental educator Nancy Judd. She has created a collection of recycled garments and named it the Campaign for Change Couture Collection. She aims to change the way the world thinks about the environment through innovative educational programs and couture fashions made from trash. See, it was a 2-1 initiative!

Go and be creative! I know there are simpler ways to reuse these campaign materials. Rather than increase the problem of waste here in the Philippines, we can keep those posters in our yards and use it in future projects!

Hopefully, supporters of candidates with thousands of campaign materials would take the initiative and be the first to recycle those "garbage". In my opinion, people should vote for candidates with lesser campaign materials firstly because they do not add to the problem of garbage disposal here in our country and secondly, because we know for sure that they are environment friendly!

The challenge is, can you name an efficient candidate who doesn't need campaign materials to introduce himself to the public since he had already proved that he can perform well? I can name one and seriously, this guy doesn't need to introduce himself. There are only two places in which his posters are located: one in Eastwood, and the other one is a minor street in North Ave.

I'll be giving out three clues: 1. He recently announced that he is not backing out in the elections 2. He is running for the mayoral race and; 3 He was the former Mayor of QC. Go figure it out.
